Donna Gill

I am a country girl at heart having been born and raised in Bega. Our family has also has had the experience of living in Canberra, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga .

My career in customer service has been varied over the years, beginning with hairdressing which I did on and off for 15 years. I then undertook work in Children’s’ Services working in long day care settings for several years.  I have also worked and managed in Fashion retail. In 2005 I started to volunteer as Learning Support Assistant in Wagga Wagga. This is where my passion for social justice and supporting individuals with a disability began.

In 2007 our family moved back to the South Coast, and bought land, which we have owner built our own home., whilst living in “The Shed”.

I have worked as a Direct Support Worker, NDIS Facilitator and now as a consultant in roundsquared, a service dedicated to making a difference.

I have a 'Can Do' attitude to all I undertake and have a reputation for tenacity and persistence when advocating for those I work with.

In my personal life I am a wife, and proud mother to two young adult children Meg has graduated as a Primary School teacher and Jack is studying Civil Engineering and Architecture at UNSW.

For fun I love exercising at the gym, walking, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle boarding. I also enjoying travelling and camping. I adore my pets and you will quite often find me enjoying in-depth and satisfying conversations with them.

I have a passion for interior design and styling and my dream is to compete on the TV show “The Block” with a friend that I have known for 38 years.

My motto is “Tough times don’t last, Tough people do”.
