We believe that people with disability and their families must have real choice and control over the decisions that affect their lives.

​​In line with the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, roundsquared fully recognises the need to promote and protect the human rights of all persons. roundsquared believes that Members and their families should have the freedom to make their own choices and be involved in all decision-making processes for their own lives.

Justice

People with disability experience some of the highest rates of discrimination nationally. roundsquared believes that all Members need fair access to education, employment, healthcare, transport, housing and public and community facilities/buildings to enable them to live an ordinary life and to participate fully in the community.

Dignity

roundsquared values and affirms the inherent dignity and intrinsic worth of each Member and recognises each Member is unique with their own gifts, talents, challenges and potential. roundsquared also believes each Member has a valuable contribution to make to others in society.

Culture

roundsquared respects and values the culture, diversity, values and beliefs of all Members in the provision of supports and interactions.

Relationships

roundsquared believes that being in reciprocal relationships is essential to every person’s sense of worth and identity. Ongoing and valued relationships in a Member’s life are crucial to their wellbeing and need to be nurtured and respected.

roundsquared believes that Members have the right to full and effective participation and inclusion in society. We believe that people thrive in communities where they can support, care and challenge one another within a culture of mutuality and cooperation.

roundsquared seeks to empower Members and their families to understand the scope and contents of their NDIS Plans through open communication that strips away the bureaucratic jargon and replaces it with clear and simple language, commensurate with the individual’s ability and understanding.

roundsquared values the lived experience of the Member and through the employment of people with disability and carers in roundsquared seeks to foster a spirit of walking beside the person in a spirit of hope and optimism to empower them to attain their vision.

roundsquared gives Members and their families the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skill they need to fully embrace a lifestyle of their choice and the opportunity to be actively involved in all decision-making.
